"Pskovelektrosvar" is an enterprise having a rich history.
On the 16th of May, 1966, Deputy Minister of Ministry of electrical engineering of the USSR, L.G. Levinsky approved the specification for designing of the largest in Europe factory for manufacture of heavy electric welding equipment in the city of Pskov.
Development of the project was assigned to the Leningrad Institute of "Lengiproenergoprom", and in May, 1970, construction of the factory ("TESO" factory) begun.
